PM Vishwakarma Yojana Training Started in Kerala: Kerala, known for its rich cultural heritage and skilled artisan community, has been at the forefront of preserving traditional craftsmanship. To further empower and support these artisans, the Government of Kerala introduced the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the livelihoods and skills of artisans across the state. This scheme, named after the revered Hindu deity of craftsmanship and architecture, Lord Vishwakarma, was launched to provide comprehensive support and opportunities to artisans, ensuring their socio-economic upliftment and the preservation of traditional crafts.

Become training partner of PM Vishwakarma Yojana

After applying for PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the verification work is going on at a fast pace. Also, government or private institutions providing training can provide quality training to the applicants by partnering with Vishwakarma Yojana. Many ITIs and private institutes have started providing training by joining PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

All interested institutions which will provide quality training to artisans and craftsmen under PM Vishwakarma Yojana should link their training centers with PM Vishwakarma Yojana. The central government has started applications for this. All eligible institutions can become training partners by applying under PM Vishwakarma Scheme. PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 Training Started in Kerala

Under PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the Central Government is working to enhance the skills of artisans and craftsmen doing 18 types of traditional businesses by providing them training on modern equipment. To improve the skills of the artisans, two types of training will be given according to their profession, out of which basic training and advanced training come.

Two types of training will be given under PM Vishwakarma Yojana. The first training will be basic which will be of 5 days and the second training will be advanced which will be of 15 days. At present basic training is being given. The address of the training center and on which day the training will be given is being given to the applicant through phone call and message. The applicant will have to go to the training center with his documents Vishwakarma ID and certificate. Where training will be given for the first 5 days and objective exam will be taken on the sixth day.

During the training, Rs 500 will be given as daily allowance. Apart from this, Rs 500 each will be given for traveling expenses and there will also be proper arrangements for accommodation and food during the training. You will get Rs 2500 for 5 days of training and Rs 500 for the exam on the sixth day and Rs 500 each for traveling expenses. Thus, in total you will get Rs (2500+500+500+500=4000) during basic training.

Applicants whose application has been accepted under PM Vishwakarma Scheme. Identity card and certificate under Vishwakarma Scheme will be delivered by post to the address given by them in the form. The applicant will get the printed copy of Vishwakarma ID card and identity card through post office. Which will definitely happen during training.

When you are going for training, it is mandatory for you to have a printed copy of Vishwakarma ID card and certificate. If for some reason the Vishwakarma ID card and certificate are not delivered to you by post and you are being called for training, then you will have to download and print your Vishwakarma ID card and certificate by following the procedure mentioned below.

Within 15 to 30 days of completing the PM Vishwakarma Yojana basic training, the candidate would receive a tool kit voucher worth Rs 15,000. After 15 days of training, applicants can get their Tool Kit Voucher by login onto their dashboard.
